Article 2

What data do we collect?

Depending on the service you use, we process the following categories of personal data:

  • Contact details: name, email, phone number (WhatsApp).
  • Property details: address, Funda link, asking price, property characteristics.
  • Financial details: maximum mortgage, own funds, risk appetite.
  • Communication: content of emails and WhatsApp messages relating to the assignment.
  • Website usage: IP address, browser type, page visits (cookies).
  • Payment data: transaction reference via Mollie (no card details).

Why do we process your data?

  • Performance of the agreement: valuations, bidding advice, scenario analysis and contract reviews.
  • Communication: contact about your assignment via WhatsApp and email.
  • Invoicing and administration: payments via Mollie and legal retention obligations.
  • Improving our services: anonymous analysis of website usage.
  • Newsletter (only with your explicit consent).

Legal basis

  • Performance of a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
  • Legal obligation (Article 6(1)(c) GDPR): tax retention requirement.
  • Consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR): for the newsletter. Withdrawable at any time.
  • Legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR): website analysis.

Article 5

Sharing with third parties

Aestimo does not share your personal data with third parties unless necessary for the execution of the service and you have given consent.

  • Mortgage advisor or partner: only with your explicit consent.
  • Payment provider (Mollie): only necessary transaction data.
  • Government: if legally required.

We never sell your data. No processors outside the EEA.

Article 6

Retention periods

  • Assignment data and reports: 2 years after completion.
  • Invoice data: 7 years (legal tax requirement).
  • Communication (email, WhatsApp): 1 year after completion.
  • Website data (cookies): maximum 12 months.
  • Newsletter data: until consent is withdrawn.

Security

Aestimo takes appropriate technical and organisational measures: encrypted storage, secure communication channels (WhatsApp end-to-end encryption), and restricted access to personal data (only the assigned advisor).

Article 8

Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection.

You can exercise these rights via info@aestimobidding.nl. We respond within 30 days.

If you disagree with how we handle your data, you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority.

Article 9

Cookies

We only place analytical cookies with your consent. Functional cookies (required for the website to work) do not require consent.
